Vocabulary Workout for the SAT/ACT is intended to help students build a vocabulary that will help them succeed on the SAT and/or ACT exam. The book is composed of strategically organized lessons to help students both learn words and practice using them in written exercises. Ideally this book should be used in tandem with reading other scholarly and intellectual materials to help nurture vocabulary growth. It is the first in a four-volume series (Note: one can purchase all four volumes separately or a single complete edition that contains all four volumes. Note also: this text strongly resembles a section of one of our other books, Vocabulary Quest; the amount of overlap between both volumes is significant).
