Nkagare Makhudu is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, author, mentor, and philanthropist renowned for his impact on African leadership and youth empowerment. As the founder and CEO of Morongwa Foundation and executive director of Makhudu Business Solutions, he has been instrumental in driving social transformation and youth development in South Africa and beyond.
Makhudu's tenure as CEO of The President's Award for Youth Empowerment includes significant accomplishments such as organising the Gold Award Ceremony in 2016, attended by notable figures including His Royal Highness, the Earl of Wessex; Prince Edward; and Dame Judith McGregor. In 2018, he represented the organisation at the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Africa Forum in Accra, Ghana. The following year, under his leadership, The President's Award received the Gauteng Premier's Service Excellence Silver Award for Social Transformation.
His innovative initiatives include the Career Development Conversations and Paint 4 Purpose project, which focus on refurbishing key community facilities.
