This book has a sweet story to tell with cute artwork and a nice rhyme. The story is simple and thoughtful but done in a great playful way. The book itself was a great size - larger than i thought with a nice hard cover. Highly recommend.

A great example of how kindness is so important in problem solving. What a meaningful and entertaining story. The idea presented in the dedication about "unlikely friends" was thought provoking. Bravo!!

Dear Bob,

I am so taken by the premise, asking of one what that the other cannot possibly do, the trying toward it, then the reversal! When Walrus asks Sloth simply to come down to meet him on common ground.

I am taken by the visuals. I love the imaginative leaps the words and pictures convey, a Walrus like a jet, like a sheet, hanging from a clothesline. And while I was reading I saw the beauty of the lines of sky, how they become - so beautiful - the tendrils of the night.

Then the moon.

That is where I stopped. For a moment, and I simply had to write you! I will continue, shortly, and in the meantime bask in the light you have created.
