The previous system looked at calories, fat and fiber to provide a points value for individual food items. But, under the revised Weight Watchers PointsPlus plan fiber, protein, carbohydrates and fat are used to compute a food value. Additionally, the majority of both vegetables and fruits receive a no points value. This is different from the former system, which allocated a zero points value just to vegetables.
