What I ate in a year

"Great book from one of my favourite actors about one of my favourite places in Europe about my all time favourite topics travel and food"

Laura M. (5/5)

Captivating title

"Stanley tucci examines life with an open minded heart and communicates on paper in his own voice. More fun than a travel show."

Charles (5/5)

A tasty & delightful read!

"I really enjoyed this novel, which left me entertained, more educated, and with an immediate desire to cook! The format was great, and I found myself wanting to back to it every day."

Adam (5/5)

Light and lovely

"The book is written in a personal journal style. If you are accustomed to Stanley Tucci’s voice and manner of speaking, you'll appreciate his subtle humour and thoughtful reflections. Of course food is described on every page - his love of it borderlines an obsession. Light and lovely read, makes you wish you were friends just to be invited over for dinner"

LoChi (5/5)

Stanley Tucci's ""What I Ate in One Year"" is written in the form of a diary highlighting experiences in his life that he enjoys and wants to remember.

"Stanley Tucci always talks about the food he enjoys (mainly Italian) which is what I also like. This book is a glimpse into his daily life adventures with his wife and kids and people he entertains and meets with. I love when he writes down in detail the recipes of his favourite dishes. This book along with the series ""Searching for Italy"" among other food series and his earlier book ""Taste""is part of a complete tour de force of Stanley Tucci's world of food adventures. It is funny and factual and a must for any food lover."

Barry M. (5/5)

Don't read when hungry!

"Very interesting read - fun recipes and anecdotes throughout"

Tlw2 (4/5)

A standout holiday ornament

"Indigo always has the best seasonal ornaments. I make a yearly trip just to pick a few up for my family. It's become a holiday tradition."

Rana (5/5)

Love Stanley Tucci!

"Love Stanley Tucci! Not as many recipes in this one. Great read!"

Nancy (4/5)

Great gift!

"Gave this to a family member who loved Tucci's cooking show about travelling through Italy. The book is a fun combination of memoir, cooking inspiration, and comfort."

Hailey (4/5)

A food lover’s diary.

"While not quite as captivating as his memoir Taste, Tucci’s latest book demonstrates his continued passion for all things food. He includes some recipes, which he has absolutely convinced me to try."
