Helpful Book

"This book contains many different suggestions & ways to help with your mental health. The author discusses mood, motivation, emotional pain, grief, stress, anxiety, relationships etc. The end of each chapter has what the author calls a toolkit, suggestions for helping one deal with whatever issue is discussed in that chapter as well as a chapter summary. I would recommend this book for anyone dealing with mental health issues or any of the many challenges one faces in life that are discussed in the book."

Thank you Dr. Julie!

"I really appreciate the information provided by Dr. Julie. The chapters are concise and easy to understand but the subjects are not “fluffy”. The chapters are: On Dark Places, On Motivation, On Emotional Pain, On Grief, On Self Doubt, On Fear, On Stress, On a Meaningful life. She explores situations or habits we face and then helps us to work to make improvements by providing tips, asking thoughtful questions, summarizing to make the main points stand out. It’s the type of book that I will read and refer to over and over again."
