I never imagined I would hear the words "You have cancer." My life came to a standstill as this disease took over my every thought and action. However, as I began to write in a journal starting with my first mammogram (ever), this daily writing evolved into a year-long guide that helped me fully understand God's unwavering love for me and the need to share my story. Here are ten things I've learned this year:

- "Bad" things happen to good people.
- God turns "bad" things into good for His glory.
- It. Will. Be. Ok.
- With Him, I always have hope.
- His Word never returns void.
- I am never alone.
- I know who I can count on.
- Nipples are overrated.
